Last November, I hit a wall.

After nearly two years spiraling through depression and anxiety — triggered by a traumatic event I never could’ve anticipated — I found myself at a breaking point. I had spent decades trying to manage my wellbeing within the limits of conventional medicine and the healthcare industry. But this time, something in me knew: I needed a different path.

That’s when I discovered ketamine-assisted therapy.

With clear intentions and a prayer for true healing, I entered the experience open and ready. The shift began almost immediately. Within a few sessions, I felt a glimmer of something I hadn’t in a long time — hope. But it wasn’t just the medicine. It was the integration work, the community support, the holistic approach.

And through that process, something even deeper came forward.

I realized that hitting such a low point in my life was not a detour — it was part of the path. It allowed me to get in touch with shadowed parts of my story I had never been able to fully face. It brought into perspective past traumas and patterns that had long kept me stuck. And just as importantly, it helped me remember all the legwork I had already done — the decades of advocacy, community organizing, and vision work. I finally saw how all those years were quietly preparing me for this moment.

I had always dreamed of contributing to regenerative communities, systems of wellness, and models of alignment that honored both healing and equity. But those dreams couldn’t take root until I did the deeper healing myself. Ketamine-assisted therapy helped me move through those shadows — and emerge with my life in a far more aligned state.

And that’s when the next realization hit me like lightning:

What was saving my life shouldn’t be a luxury.

Thousands of dollars out of pocket. No insurance coverage. No roadmap. No support system for most people walking a similar path. It was a privilege to be able to access this care — and that truth shook me. Because the very people I had long walked beside — those impacted by poverty, addiction, trauma, incarceration — were often the ones most excluded from these breakthroughs.

And from that realization, 3PC was born.

3PC — People Pursuing Positive Consciousness — is a movement, a model, and a mission. It exists to make healing real and reachable. To give people direct financial assistance for transformative treatments. To walk with them through a Reset. Restore. Redefine. process that doesn’t just bring clarity — but real-world traction. And to give them a platform to be seen, celebrated, and supported as they reclaim their lives and their purpose.

In May, I took the leap. I invested a major part of my life savings to prototype the R3 Retreat — a 7-day immersive reset followed by a 2-year pathway to purpose, profit-sharing, and co-ownership. I built the first version of our website. I registered 3PC as a nonprofit charitable organization. And I stepped away from conventional employment to bring this dream fully to life.

Today, with deep gratitude and full conviction, I’m sharing this with the world.
